Biologist for a day: a classroom on the beach!

Discovering the wonders of the sea

Biologist for a day is a favourite outing for children of all ages! We spend the morning in the company of a biologist who teaches us to observe all the little wonders of our precious sea, to learn to respect it and discover all its secrets.

Rendezvous is at 9:30 am in front of the entrance, with swimming costume, diving mask 🥽 and fishing net, ready to set off, hand in hand, towards the beach. Once our feet are in the sand, we’ll sit around a table and introduce ourselves, and our biologist friend will hand us a sheet 📜, which we have to keep until the end of the morning...

We then move towards the seashore and collect 🦀🌿🐚 shells of all sizes, small hermit crabs and all kinds of seaweed and we’ll then bring the spoils to the table in our small workshop.

Now comes the best part! With the help of the biologist and a microscope🔬, we can observe the little treasures we’ve collected and discover all their secrets... and more!

At the end of the morning, the biologist will present everyone with a "Marine Biology Degree" 👨‍🎓! Won’t it be cool to show it off at school after the summer holidays!
